>>> Be one of the first 18 people commenting on this journal entry, and I will add you to the Featured List!

>>> For each of the 18 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the three deviations I like most from his/her gallery on the list.

>>> If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 17 other people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.

yessssssszzz.

the first person i will feature is :iconinkerikeri: from whose journal i copied this.
My personal favorite's of her gallery are these pictures:

[link]
really, this is my favorite favorite one, such a nice scene and warm earthy tones.

[link]
I have no idea what they say, but i love their fancy hats and the pose of the left person!

[link]
I really love these kind of pictures, with all the little details to discover and i think a book illustrated with such pictures would be great!

ok, so lets see who is next to be featured, please comment and please check also out the featured pictures and artists.

ok second featured person is :iconandreadeangelis:

[link]
love this photograph!
it might make a nice poster or magazine cover!

[link]
that's one nice composition!
lovely!

[link]
in this series i am not actually sure which is the best one, 'coz they are all so cool, but for now i think i like this one best!

and then of course the third person: :iconkliwe: hehe.

[link]
a somewhat...ehm...creepy mask :D

[link]
a sea-shell-dragon, that's something different, no?

[link]
it's a reas, haha, well-captured kliwe!

ok, person number four: :iconcritmass: (thanks for all your support by the way)

[link]
i especially like the "evangecyclist".

[link]
now they say that there ARE footprints on the moon (at least of humans), but who really knows what to believe anyway?

[link]
potato-voodoo-dolls, i would like to see an exhibition of such creatures.

and a fifth person!
my dear friend :iconsplink:
OK, gotta tell you, it was really difficult to choose only three pictures, because there are so many cool ones!
But here are the three that i chose after some consideration.

[link]
That is one cinematic photo!
Their faces and there poses and the blackness and blueness of the picture make it really special!

[link]
Also this one i could imagine as a movieposter, either for some freaky comedy or for a surreal art movie :)
very intriguing!

[link]
The unnaturally perfect light and the texture of the sand, make this one an instant classic :D

Featuree number six: :iconpinkasapeach:

[link]
This instantly caught my attention.
I like that it reminds (me) of heraldic art, you know, coats of arms and such.
+ nice fluid writing!

[link]
The expression of the girl, the "destroyed" colors and that melancholic parrot, that somewhat resembles my grandfather all add up to a good picture.

[link]
I would like to read a comic book in this style.
Very simple and dynamic.

Here comes the seventh happy/lucky person: :iconfeta95:

[link]
Makes me think of childhood adventures.
That kid has a lovely expression.

[link]
Nice warm colors and close up framing.
good one!

[link]
It's a cat/lion/tiger/puma/leopard/panther/or other cat-person!!

And here comes Tristan Wilder, the person number 8! :iconataripunk633:

[link]
That hairbattle is damn cool, so check out also the other pictures that belong to it!

[link]
Who wasn't disappointed yet, by just getting a shirt?

[link]
I love the lot of little details and the careful looking style.

Already nine people! here now :iconblindpsykhe: !

[link]
I love this one, it is so ghostly and almost like picturing something invisible, yeah!
Nicely minimal also.

[link]
I like that perspective a lot and the golden glistening water.
I would love to walk around there.

[link]
Great, great composition!
I'm such a big fan of "extreme" compositions like that!
And cheers to the snail!

Person number 10!! :iconpeltipurkki:
Hard to choose with so many great things!
yeah, i love that gallery!!

[link]
Fantastic composition!
Fancy merchild and skinny woman!!

[link]
Their faces look so refined/sensual.
Very good one!

[link]
Every little detail is cool in this one, I like it a lotttt.

OK, guess what, person number 11 already! it's Schlocky! ( :iconschlockhausen: )

[link]
Yes, that one is just cool with that colors and diagonals and fancy lines and crazy face and all!

[link]
Looks surprisingly not as disgusting as it sounds...in fact it looks great!

[link]
Now that is one epic neck!

Person 12 already!!
:icono-nion:

[link]
Mysterious and dark/shiny, that's wonderful!

[link]
There shall be more comics like this one!

[link]
Despite not so high quality photo, this dog manages to charm me, with his weird and cute mask!

Person number 13!! (a very nice number)
:iconshalalalalalala:

[link]
Yay!

[link]
With this picture I wish for three others :P

[link]
I cannot decide which one I appreciate more, the picture or the comment!

Like always it was hard to only choose three, so I suggest you to check out the whole galleries of all the "featurees"

And again:

don't be shy, this journal needs (still) more participants!
  • Mood: Love
  • Listening to: yura yura teikoku
  • Reading: el libro de los abrazos

I am going to try this featurette journal thing sometime soon and you will be my number one featured artist.

have a super fantastic light-your-soul kind of holiday season,
whether or not it is in the fashion of the
culture you are in.

Thanks a lot :)
I like the kind of candle-light-tangerine-calm-and-thoughtful-pine-smell-home-made-cookies-child-like-excitement-kind-of-holiday season.
Sadly enough that doesn't seem to exist anymore, it's all like plastic-noise-money-stress-American-style(don't take that bad or racist)-holiday season and I don't like that, that's why I don't participate in it :)
+ I suppose partly I am "just too old" for these things :)
I will try to create here in the house some kind of nice not-paying-so-much-attention-Christmas :)
I wish you a nice time too!

I tried on given holiday seasons/occasion to participate in something we call "Buy Nothing Day"

It was amazing how much angry flak I got when doing so. I actually got afraid of doing so.

It' all very sad.
but i guess change come one home at a time
